About
Jonny Thorpe is lead colourist at Glassworks London. He is available for grading through Glassworks London in cooperation with S EC.
Spearheading a new wave of emerging colourists, Jonny has already established a loyal following due to his progressive approach to colour which, coupled with his super-sharp sense of humour, makes colour grading sessions with him truly refreshing. In 2018 he was awarded the Gold Kinsale Shark Award for Best New Colourist. He has graded films for an impressive roster of directors including Henry Scholfield (Caviar), Zhang + Knight (Friend), Ne-o (Stink), Perlorian Brothers (MJZ) and Sophie Jones (Partizan). His colour work spans campaigns for brands including Nike, Apple, Everyman Cinemas, Google, Heineken, Edinburgh Gin and Lego as well as music videos for Stormzy, The Beatles, Slowthai, Metronomy, Sigrid & Jungle.
