After a year in Los Angeles, expanding his skills, Julien has now returned to his roots in Berlin. His journey began as an assistant for features at the age of 18, then quickly becoming a colorist for the renowned post-production house Nhb, leading to years of experience working on high-end campaigns, series, and features across Germany. Throughout his career, he’s pursued perfection, blending old-school techniques with artistic vision and technical mastery. He excels in creating distinctive cinematic looks, from abstract and dark to polished aesthetics. Julien also carries a rich cinematic heritage, with his father being the cinematographer Wedigo von Schultzendorff, influencing his dedication to the art of color grading. He is now part of the S EC family and available worldwide remotely.
